Frequently asked questions

Products across three qualities, one manufacturing unit. Here's what buyers ask before placing an order — if yours isn't here, ask us directly.

Blankets basics

What is a mink blanket made of?

100% polyester, knitted (raschel) and then raised and sheared to create the soft, brushed pile. There's no animal fibre involved — "mink" describes the finish, not the material. See our full comparison of mink versus plain polyester. Mink vs polyester, explained →

What is the difference between Mink, Cloudy and Supersoft?

Three different finishes from three different yarn builds. Mink is our standard raised-pile finish. Cloudy has a softer-edged, deeper-saturation surface that takes print differently. Supersoft uses a longer pile, raised and sheared for an even softer hand than standard Mink.

What is the difference between single ply and double ply?

Single ply is one knitted layer. Double ply is two layers bonded together, which lies flatter, holds its shape through repeated washing, and generally runs heavier. Read the full comparison for which fits your use case. Single ply vs double ply →

Is a heavier blanket always warmer?

Not strictly — construction matters as much as weight. A raised-pile finish traps more air per gram than a flat weave, so two blankets of similar weight can feel different in warmth. Weight, ply and finish together determine how a product performs, which is why we publish all three per product rather than weight alone.

Sizing

What sizes do you make?

Two fixed sizes per bed size: single bed ships in 150 × 220 cm or 160 × 220 cm; double bed in 205 × 215 cm or 220 × 240 cm. Every product in the range uses these sizes — there's no per-product size variation.

Can you make a custom size?

Ask us. Standard production runs on the four sizes above; anything outside that is a conversation about minimum quantity and lead time, not an automatic yes or no.

Quality and care

How do I wash a mink blanket?

Cold to lukewarm water, mild detergent, no fabric softener, gentle cycle, and low heat or air dry. Full washing, drying and storage instructions are in our care guide. Full care guide →

How long does a mink blanket last?

Years, if washed correctly — the raising-and-shearing finish is what separates a blanket that still looks new after a season from one that doesn't, and correct washing is what preserves it. Most early wear is a laundry issue (hot water, fabric softener, high heat) rather than a manufacturing one.

Do your blankets pill?

Any raised-pile fabric can pill with abrasive washing or high heat. Correct washing (see the care guide) minimises it substantially.

Colours

How many colours does each product come in?

Every product runs in multiple colourways, and we hold 500+ pieces of every colour in stock. Ask us for the current colour set for any specific product — it's easier to send photos than to describe a range.

Can I get a custom colour?

Ask on enquiry. Because weaving, printing and finishing all happen in our own unit, a custom colour request is a direct conversation rather than a subcontractor negotiation — feasibility depends on quantity.

Ordering

What is the minimum order quantity?

We hold 500+ pieces of every colourway in stock rather than making to order, so most enquiries are quoted against existing stock rather than a fixed production minimum. Tell us your quantity and we'll confirm against what's on the floor.

Do you sell direct to individual households?

Our range is built for bulk — distributors, retailers, importers and gifting buyers. If you're after a single blanket, we're likely not the right fit; if you're buying for resale or in volume, that's exactly what we're set up for.

How do I get a quote?

Send us the product (or weight/bed size/ply if you haven't picked one), quantity, and delivery city. That's enough for an accurate rate. Payment terms, delivery cost and lead time are confirmed per quote rather than published as a fixed policy, since they depend on quantity and destination. Contact / enquiry form →

Corporate and wedding gifting

Can blankets be branded with our logo?

Yes — woven label, printed sleeve, gift box, and card-and-ribbon are all available, individually or combined. See the gifting page for the full breakdown by tier. Corporate gifting options →

What weight should I choose for gifting?

Depends on the budget and the message. Lighter weights suit high-count staff/vendor gifting on a fixed per-head budget; heavier double-ply weights suit premium client and wedding gifting, where the weight in the hand is part of the impression. See the three gifting tiers for what fits each budget. Gifting tiers →

How far ahead should we order for a festival or event date?

Branded gifting is made to order, so the earlier we have final artwork and a confirmed quantity, the better. Send us your required-by date and we'll tell you plainly whether it's realistic rather than after you've committed to it internally.

Manufacturing and export

Where are Bahubali blankets made?

In our own unit at Gharaunda, on the Panipat–Karnal belt in Haryana, India. Weaving, printing, raising, shearing and finishing all happen in-house — nothing goes out to job-workers. How the blankets are made →

Do you provide export documentation?

Yes. We are GST registered and an IEC holder, with export documentation handled in-house.

What happens to your process wastewater?

We run an effluent treatment plant on site and operate under Haryana State Pollution Control Board consent.

Can I ask about technical specifications like GSM tolerance or carton dimensions?

Yes — those are confirmed directly on a technical enquiry rather than published as a general spec, since they vary by product and destination. Ask us anything technical and we'll get you a straight answer. Technical enquiry →
